Does anyone know of any class action tort lawyers in the UK that would take the lead on this?

It must be remembered that all the Law Lords have done is say that a person can now sue after what was six years.

The woman in question has yet to take the man to court under a Civil action in an attempt to get any compensation.

If the man in question has a good lawyer they may say something along the lines. That he came into the money while serving a prison sentence for the crime. He was therefore already being punished for the crime. To grant the claim for compensation could be a second punishment. Also that he came into the money while serving his punishment, therefore is not part of any crime that was committed before he was sent to prison.

But if a person sues an "organisation/church/local authority" under this ruling they could have a better chance of winning. As the "organisation" is an on going thing and still in operation.

It will be interesting to see any test cases that come about because of this ruling.
