Yeah...as someone that has lived abroad and traveled extensively...the WTBS really isn't the big deal the JWs think it is. Most JWs don't travel much with the exception of arranged travel with other Witnesses and they rarely read non-WTBS literature. Its the "King and I" syndrome...where they taught that their country was the largest in the world but it actually quite tiny but the people believed it because they had never heard/read anything otherwise.
Plus...contrary to what the WTBS teach...many religions have missionaries all throughout the world.
