Never, never ever, show a pic of your toaster.

You see, it immediately identifies you as a non-Brit. The 2 pin plug with round pins is obviously only able to handle 110 volts, which, apparently is the sort of voltage still used in third world countries. A British (Fanfare!) toaster would have 3 pin plug with square pins which can more than handle the 240 volts which would normally surge through it turning your bread to toast in seconds.

Now, if you had shown us a jar of Marmite.....

It's possessed.. You obviously put in demonized wheat bread, and now when you try to toast anything, the toaster just sits and spins on the table, right?

That's a sure sign that it's time to get a new toaster :-)

There's a toaster museum in Seattle, Washington. I doubt if they're on line, could have kept you enthralled for hours.

My toaster has 18 pins on the plug, which is 5.5" x3.9" in size. the pins are of euclidian and non-euclidian geometry and the toaster requires 15,840 volts at 14 KHz. Needless to say, it is quick.
