  Recently the last World War 1 vetran died in Australia. He was 17 in 1916.

  Actually, there's still one left: Lance-Cpl. John Babcock is the last Canadian veteran from WWI----he's 107 years old and lives in Seattle. So see? The 'generation of 1914' is still alive! The WTS wasn't wrong! It's proof that some of that generation would still be alive when Armageddon breaks out!

  Oh sorry----that "generation" that Jesus was speaking about didn't mean this guy's generation after all. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

  And now 2008 is almost half gone, and still no Armageddon. On top of that, they have just done away with the book study effective in 2009. That means they are not expecting Armageddon to come any time before then, and probably a ways in.

  Now, the question is when they are going to do another 1975-style scare about 2014.

  It's now JUNE 2008 Mid-year..nearly tax time....where is this promised Armagedon....good point with the bookstudy change, but how has cancelling it prepared us for the great Tribulation?
