My nomination for the most abused, specious line is "Wait on Jehovah". This is just a stall tactic. No matter how long you wait, it will force you to wait even longer. I am hoping they are "waiting on Jehovah" to get me back. If so, they are in for a l------o-------n-------g wait.

The whole concept of paradise ON EARTH which is so central to the JW perspective and aspirations does not exist in the Bible, for all we know resurrected humans will not eat or drink or have sex (get married) and the destiny of all Christians is heaven ward, the heavenly city of God that the Old Testament faithful also aspired to.
