    Oh goody, not again. Did anyone care to do research here? Cross and Crown are traditional symbols among Christians. Even if you cared to check on wikipedia you would have learned as much. Here ya go http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_and_Crown

    And "33rd degree" in freemasonry is a honorary degree for exceptional service to fraternity. Check this Freemasons For Dummies You can get one as soon as you are master mason and do exceptional service to their order. It is not "advanced degree" in sense of how many conspiracy theorists love to describe it.

    And no Russell was NEVER a member of the fraternity, not Freemasonry anyway.

    I was at a funeral in a church last week and saw the same exact symbol of the cross and crown on the stain glass window. It must be a popular and pervasive symbol in many churches.
