    Imo, the universe itself is an accident event in preexisting potential, a sort of lower level trancendent cradle, where all is calmness.

    Now, there ya go again, talking like some Hawkings and Weinberg. LOL

    There is no "other side" of death. Death is an event, rather like taking a shit: when it's done, it's done, and you can look at it, and examine the "body" of evidence, and generate all kinds of hypotheses about the source and ultimate purpose of such events...but then it's just flushed away, along with the other hundreds of thousands of such events that happen in the course of life experience. No different than walking through the forest and looking, with perhaps some admiration, on the huge trunk of a cedar tree that fell some decades ago, and feeds the new trees and countless organisms that spring up to yet again repeat the cycle of life.

    I think that there is jewish, somewhere in my ancestry;) Actually, i think basic hindu thought is along a similar line.
