Movie Title question - Making a sandwich while in the market

I am trying to find the title of a movie I saw many many years ago.

Perhaps some here might recognize this scene from it.

A man is shown walking up and down the aisles of a grocery market. He is shown opening a package of bread and taking a couple of slices out of it. At another location in the market he is shown opening a package of lunch meat and taking a few slices out of it as well! He continues to open things and removing what he needs until he is finished making a sandwich, which he then promptly eats right there in the market! No one else in the market apparently sees him doing this.

The man then goes to the checkout stand, and purchases a single package of chewing gum!

After leaving the market he rides off on his motorcycle (at least that is what I recall).

Does this sound familiar? I believe the movie was made sometime in the late 60's or early 70's.

I remember the scene, but I can't think of the movie's name.

The actor had a voice like Adam Sandler's.

Is it the movie CC & Company starring Ann-Margret and Joe Namath?

    snowbird wins the prize!!

The film begins with its best sequence as Joe, playing an outlaw motorcycle club member named C. C. Ryder, is shown walking around inside a supermarket while casually assembling a sandwich from the various products on the shelves. After he eats the sandwich he helps himself to a Twinkie and a small carton of milk. Then he hits the checkout line with just a package of "Fruit Stripe" gum to pay for and exits the store. This might be film's only attempt at symbolism as the gas tank and rear fender of Joe's chopper are painted a zebra stripe pattern. Baby boomers may recall that "Fruit Stripe" gum commercials featured a zebra.

I used this fun site: http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/poster.php

BTW, Fruit Stripe was my usual chewing gum during the boooooring meetings. I bet I could find a few zebra wrappers and chewed-up wads of gum stuck in my old NWT.
