Well I told you about mine a few weeks ago.

I was sitting at a light around 11pm and it was a green light for me to make my left turn. But for some reason I didn't make the turn. My foot wouldn't let up off of the brake. I even thought to myself why am I not going. Just then a car came barreling thru the red light and would have broadsided me if I had gone thru the green light.

Weird. I don't believe in guardian angels. But something caused me to make the right decision.

I had the "itch" to play the ouija board last night. So me and my daughters friend sat an waited quite some time, and the pointer started moving. We asked the name of the person, "she" said Emma. We asked her if she knew she was dead, it pointed to yes. Then we asked her to spell her last name, we got one, but we may have it confused. (tried looking it up this morning) We asked her how she died, it spelled murder. Then we asked by who, it spelled Mother. When we asked where, it didnt move, so like a dork, i said in this house? It pointed to YES.

Ok....Here is my story. I was living with a BF in a trailer his grandparents used to live in and were now dead.

I worked nights, so would try to sleep during the day when I was the only one home. I would hear the back door opening...and no one was around.

He and his mom once heard the toilet flush and the sign on the BR door flipped over to "occupied" by itself. (His grandpa always liked that sign)

Well...one night we were both home and heard a noise in the back bedroom (His g-parents) We were creeped out and both went down the hall towards the room....when we pushed the door open, we saw a REALLY creepy evil shadow in the window...We both screamed and ran...then we went back to see it again...and it was gone. We both saw the figure.I couldn't wait to move out of that place!

Delilah said: I hear this skitching noise, across the floor, coming towards me. I hear it, but don't bother investigating. A few minutes later, again, the same noise, a little louder. I look up....I see nothing, go back to my mail. The third time, the same noise, really loud this time, coming towards me. I jump up out of my chair and tore off up the stairs, yelling at my kids, "Did you guys hear that?" They said "No, what was it?" I ask them if the dog was asleep up there with one of them, she was. We don't have mice or rats, and the noise was that of something big....

Sheeeeeet.....and you wonder why I would never sleep over at your place??? The only thing that's ever happened to me involves Delilah, or Delilah's phone. I did a post on this quite a while ago, but will repeat it jes' for Elsewhere and Funkyderek who I know full well love to read these threads

Anyway, I had phoned Delilah at 12:30pm from work. The phone rang about 3 times and then someone picked up the phone (although it had sounded like they were struggling with it). I went "Helloooooo" about 3 times, no answer. I was somewhat aggrevated but thought "oh screw this" and hung up when there was no answer. I figured that Delilah's 2 year old grandson had maybe grabbed the phone but didn't bother saying anything. I tried back again and it rang and rang and rang and rang so I just hung up. Anyhoo, I call her back a few hours later and told her that I had called earlier and what had happened. She was semi-freaked out and said "are you serious?" I said "ya, why?"

From her end, this is what had happened: She was out in the car at 12:30pm waiting to drive her daughter and grandson to an appt. Her daughter was in the house with her son and was just getting ready to come out to the car when the phone rang at 12:30pm (you can see the time on the telephone) and it came up "long distance" which would have been me. She went to pick it up when the light came on, indicating that someone else in the house had picked up an extension and it stopped ringing. The only problem with this is that no one else was home. Dee's hubby was far away at work and the boys were both in school. Dee's daughter mentioned what had happened when she went out to the car.........I just thought that was frigging weird........

I am usually a skeptic, but, after this weeekend, I must share the following events. Before you scoff or mock, realize that this ACTUALLY happened:

I awoke this morning feeling a very powerful feeling.

It was as if I was filled with something otherworldly,

something that did not belong in me,

    something foreign,

    something evil.

It racked my body with pain,

    cramps,

my body made unusually loud sounds,

    I was made sore,

    uncomfortable,

    cramped,

I felt the uncontrollable urge to run,

    run,

    run,

    pull my britches down,

and sit on the porcelain convenience!

    In all it's fullness,

    the evil left me!

BA- This is a TRUE story.

PS- I feel much better now

    I've had many experiences I cannot explain. Some bad some good. Here is one of each;

When I was a teen, I got together with some friends have a se'ance. My girlfriend wanted to call up the spirit of her uncle who died in a war. I don't remember which one. She read books and watch videos on how to do it. Anyway, during the se'ance a chair in the far corner started moving on its own and It scared me half to death. I went running out of there fast.

That night I awoke in my bedroom to noises that sounded like an old army movie. I could hear someone shouting commands and marching. The noise seemed to be coming from the walls. I got out of bed, thinking my dad must be watching some old war movie. He loved these and I thought maybe he had it up too loud. But I found the t.v. in the livingroom off and everyone asleep.

I noticed when I left the room, the sounds stopped but when I entered my room it started up again. When I noticed this, I tried to run out of the room but before I got to the door, I felt two hands push me backwards! But no one was there. I screamed so loud I woke my family and the nieghbor next door. Since then I do not do se'ances and never go near the ouiji boards or fortune tellers. I felt that way since this incident and way before becoming a JW.

Here is a good experience that I believe was either a "sixth sense" or instinct.

When I was about 22, I had a girlfriend with a young son who I used to visit every friday night. She would put the baby to bed and we would play cards and have a few drinks together. I would always leave at 11:00 pm to start walking home. The nieghborhood was not too good and my mom would start looking for me at this time. (I lived in Brooklyn NY). Anyway, she used to tease me about how I always left exactly at 11:00pm, she said you can set your clock by me.

One night I got up to leave and walk down the stairs to the door. She lived on the 2nd floor of any apt. building, when I abrubtly sat right back down. It was so sudden, my friend asked me what was wrong? I told her what I felt, which was an overwelming urge to sit down. As soon as I was finished with my sentence (about a minute or so), we heard a trememdous crash at the front door. We ran to the steps and saw a large truck in the hallway. We found out later, this guy was drunk and ran up on the sidewalk crashing thru the door. The door I would have gone out at the same moment he crashed had I not sat down!

I've had other experiences too including my dead mother coming to me in a dream and telling me my dad would soon be joining her. We didn't know dad was sick, and niether did he know. but within a few weeks of this dream he was diagnosed with cancer. Dad died exactly one year to the day of mom's death.

Yes my friends, there are spirits...out there.....They are not "The Demons" has the WT would have you believe.

There are disincarnate spirits...some don't know there dead...and some that just don't want to move on. Sometimes it's just a residue of energy left in the time continuum.

My father who worked on the Queen Mary ( a noted ghost ship) a few years ago and who doesn't believe in Ghosts was in the swimming pool area (which is a restricted area inside the ship) He and a couple of workmates thought they would take an unauthorized tour of the area.....there was three of them walking in a line around the pool. It was dark they had flash lights. They were all starting to get "creep out." So the as they were walking the guy in front said "Lets get out of here" My father turned around and told the guy behind him who was 5 feet away that they were leaving. He turned back to the group only to realalize that there should be NO guy behind him since he was the last man.....So he turns back to the guy....and he is gone. This all happened in two seconds....My dad even though 80 years old was running out of there.

That is just one of many stories I know to be real.

And yes "elsewere" we figured out you don't believe in them...But has we all know just because a person doesn't believe in something it...doesn't mean it doesn't exist...

Hay....we ALL been wrong before.......We believed the Jehovah's Witnesses were real at one time.

I know many people who have experienced some type of paranormal experience. My daughter has also had experiences.

One was right after my dad died. He always told me he wanted some of his ashes sprinkled in my yard so he could check up on his grandkids, to which I always laughed of course.

I sprinkled about a 1/2 cup of his ashes in my front yard and buried the rest.

Anyway, one night my daughter who was 11 at the time was sitting in her room on her bed when she felt the bed sink like someone sat beside her. She felt a little creeped out and got up to leave when she swears she heard my dad say hello to her. Only no one was there. She was so afraid she started screaming and I came running into her room to see what happened. The kid was hysterical so I know she was not lying about experiencing something.

Anyway she refused to sleep in her room for a while but I kept telling her that it was grandpa checking up on her and she needn't be scared. We eventually went into the room together and I spoke outloud to my dad and explained that although he didn't mean too, he had scared my daughter. And I asked him to feel free to check in on her but don't speak to her again because she got really afraid.

Since then, she has felt the bed sink 2 more times but no voices. Now she truly believes it is grandpa keeping his promise to keep an eye on her.

I think because I've been opened all my life to these experiences, that is why I've had so many in my life. I could give you hundreds of examples. One day I'll tell you all about the time I had a premonition but did not listen to my "inner voice" and it did not turn out well. I think we all need to listen to our sixth sense. It is something everyone has inside them.
