A 'special pioneer'/ex-missionary and his wife moved to the hall I attended. He was appointed PO shortly after moving in, which was a bit odd. He had a strange if not eccentric personality and always made bizarre comments from the stage, especially regarding sexually related things. One day, while in field service, a local publisher happened upon his 'old' wife he abandoned decades before. They were never divorced and apparently had children together. The hypocrite was eventually DF'd. Always a good time seeing a PO DF'd.

Another regarding pioneers... A pair of pioneers who were dating were caught bangin' in the backseat of one of their pioneermobiles after a meeting on a dark road not far from the hall.. Too horny for their own good I guess..

Gotta watch them pioneerz!

I guess in "Watchtowerland" it's kinda funny/pathetic, considering tthe mindset you're led to believe,after all we're all "made of the flesh", and the dubs recruit going door to door, so Lord knows who's behind those doors!!

I'm sure this isn't a unique situation in Dubland, but just remember a " "dyed in the wool elder" (go out in service every opportunity yada, yada, yada) and a pioneer sister fnally got disfellowshipped for their ongoing affair, as I remember he conducted the WT study on Sunday, letter was read on Thursday . . .but then again, what else is new in "Dubland".?

And then there's the elder (anyone in the Jamaica, Queens congregrations of New York will probably remember these two episodes) thatwas removed from his eldership because his youngest son couldn't keep it in his pants. got removed because of his son's behavior, started attending the Lynbrook Cong. out on the Island because he had connections there and was able to maintain his eldership. Gee, certainly sounds like the type of God's chosen people religion that leads to eternal life, doesn't it ? ? ?

Eh...wouldn't say these were totally scandalous but, one never knows.

A married elder went out ~~selling magazines~~ field service with a pioneer sister, eventually he raped her and both were df'd. She bc she didn't scream or something to that affect. Stupid.

An elder was forced to step down bc his kid couldn't keep it in his pants.

Probably more, but can't seem to recall anything else at the moment.

219.462.5151 PORTER TOWNSHIP | A Valparaiso woman was arrested on a battery charge after she was accused of attacking another woman inside the Jehovah's Witness Hall at 198 W. Division Road.

Janiene Griselle, 36, of 3602 Timberbridge Drive, Valparaiso, was taken to Porter County Jail at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. She faces a maximum of a year in prison if convicted of the battery charge. Porter County police also ordered her not to return to the church.

The victim, a 30-year-old Valparaiso woman, told police she was in the main sanctuary when she was told Griselle wanted to talk to her in the bathroom. The victim said she went to the bathroom, at which time Griselle stated she was sleeping with the victim's boyfriend.
The victim said Griselle screamed at her to leave the man alone, but the victim said she told Griselle she didn't want to discuss it at church. The victim said she tried to leave, but Griselle blocked her path and then slapped, punched and kicked her. The victim suffered scratches and a bruise before a man entered the bathroom to break it up, police said.

Police said Griselle admitted she lost her "cool" and would have to "live and learn."

If Griselle returns to the Valparaiso-area church, she faces arrest on a criminal trespass charge. Police issued a trespass warning at the request of a church elder. N.

When I was younger a group of sisters in a neighboring hall decided to recruit one of the girls in our hall for their "experimenting." Yes, it's exactly what you think it means. Full-on lesbian orgy. The girl from my hall was traumatized and eventually got surgery and is now a man. S/he did manage to avoid the elders and I don't think s/he was ever dfed.

This was not a scandal but a great story of how we good boys we were. Back in the early 70's we went to a circuit assembly. The assembly was held at some big public center that had a stage and ceiling spot lights. Well we all volunteered for night watchmen. All 5 of us got on the stage and figured how to lower one of the spot lights on a cable. We got some apples from the food counters and turn off all the lights in the auditorium. So one guy on the stage would look for the other 4 guys with the spot light. When he spotted us he would nail us with an apple. We all took turns being on stage and the game was when you had to run to the stage in the dark without being hit with an apple. I got more crazy stories to share if anyone is interested........GH

one of my friends i grew up with was a little questionable, maybe gay or not?, we were about 13 , his dad was po and my dad was elder, and so i hung with them, cause i had to, one day their neighbor told their dad , that alot of his chickens were being found dead, did he ever see anything?

no never saw anything, the bookstudy was at their house, so we would play outside after the meeting, me and 2 friends couldnt find him after the meeting outside, we went around back and caught him having sex with a chicken, i guess the stress killed the chicken, dad was informed, it wasnt pretty, and we all called him chicken f-----r after that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Father was forced to step down from Eldership because I was watching pornography (I was 13or14 I think). In the mean time, I was "playing"...mhm... with a bunch of the other boys in the congregation. I think its stupid that they removed My father for my porn watching and not because of my gay lifestyle. Wheres that "holy spirit" they talk about?
