Digital Camera Finally busted...Yay !!!

I have recently replaced my old 2.1 meg camera, that had a great lens, with 6 meg with a lens that is just as good, but is just as bulky.
Until CCDs get faster, we need bulky lenses to take great photos in bad light. I am prepared to put up with this, but it does mean that my current camera doesn't slip into my shirt pocket.
My kids go with the pocket sized cameras with lots of megapixels, but they are rewarded with a lot of blurry photos when the light is poor or the action too fast.
I am looking forward to a new generation of fast CCDs that does away with the need for large lenses. A couple of years ago I would have put my prophet's hat on and said it would never happen, but I'm not so sure now.

These things are just going to keep getting better and cheaper. They are developing a system following the form of a fly's eye. It's a bunch of lenslets arranged on a sheet. It sounds promising.

Well, it was my dads camera for 1.5 years, then i bought it off him, and then I took 17,000 pics in 3.5 years He took about 500 and I took the rest

I didn't buy a camera yet...I'm waiting and hoping someone will buy me a camera for Christmas....
Too bad I don't have it now, the colors are so nice outside now....
I might buy it in the US, next time I go there, its a lot cheaper than here, so I'll be able to buy a better one.

OMG, it came back to life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For about a week, I tried turning it on, and nothing.....so I took out the 4 AA batteries a couple of times, and put them back in the right position, and still nothing, so I took out the batteries for 2 days, and when I put them back in this morning, the camera was back to normal.....

It's probably deminz. Just to be safe, get a priest to sprinkle some water on it, before you use it.
