I was being kind to these people and thought it would be interesting to see how they acted at people's doors. Now I know. And it's true, everybody is on a mission to get something from you. It's not like this place here at all 'cause nobody here expects anything from me ... and I don't dissapoint!

LOL! I started going to a church after I left the JWs that ended up being the door to door type. I told them NO WAY was I doing that anymore.Then I found out they weren't the branch of Baptists they claimed to be on their web site-they were affiliated with the Southern Baptist convention and espoused the new SB standing on women (can anyone say "theocratic warfare here").I also found out that even though the pastor was a hardliner on women's subjection, he didn't "know how he felt" about porn.Hmm-a guy who earnestly believes women should be in subjection, but likes porn-anyone else having S&M visions here, lol. Needless to say, I was out of there.Now I get shunned by them, too
One good thing about being exJW-the whole hellfire and brimstone thing has NO effect on me
