I did all those things at the beginning. I'll admit the taste was quite pleasant at one time. Then it turned sour; then so bitter that I couldn't swallow any more. I knew it was time to exit stage left. That's exactly what I did.

Yes and it tasted like lies, deceit, ignorance and corruption so I spat it out

If you did all those things year in and year out, would it make the WT teachings correct?

Or would it just indoctrinate you to such a degree that you would think they were all correct and not question them, and thereby feel better about it all?

    Question 3 about "spiritual heritage".

I really didn't know much about it except for bits and pieces. Then along came the "Kingdom Proclaimers" book in 1993. It promised to be a frank discussion of Watchtower history. It failed, and I knew it even when I was a faithful JW.

Now since 2000 I've been on the outside, and have studied closely the real history of the Watchtower organization. What a shameful heritage my parents tried to pass on. Of course, they view it with rose-colored glasses.

To think Jehovah's organization tastes good, you have to fool yourself.
