See, this is why I'll keep engaging JW's who are on the fence. Clear of their delusion, who's to say where they would choose to worship?
Thanks ... a lot!!!

Now I get it!!!!!!! Now I understand Rosalee's thinking. We have probably been wondering just why she is here on this site. Well, let us examine the issue. She tells us:
It took being dealt with in a poor manner by a poster here, in private that made me see that, as my mother says ... there is no honor among thieves.
The reason this thread is called ... Thanks ... is that my eyes have been opened to what to expect outside my safe haven. I will now view exjw's for what they really are. Not just disgruntled exes but ones who will do anything to dishonor the truth.
So ... thanks a lot ... you've made me see where my loyalties lie.
So, if we can get this straight, she came here to vent, but was mistreated by some on this site. Spoken to in a way that was less than kind, she feels. Kinda like some of the following posts she made?
Having read quite a few threads on this site, I'd have to say JWs ARE generally better than most who post here.
frank/alanf wannabe:
if i kicked at every cur in my path, i'd get nowhere :)
what makes you think that if you throw some dumb questions around
that i'd feel honour bound to answer ??? dream on!!!
nevergoingback:
sinking to your level of understanding still leaves your post wanting.
josie ... stick to what you understand ... the fluff topics ... Rose :)
imho ... hs ... oh forget it. I was going to give you a put down like I did before but likely your ego couldn't take it at your age ... Rose
Stench ... I mean Trench ... I see being 'away' hasn't deepened your intellect.
hs ... beats printing it on the tip of a needle ... much like the top of your head :)
So, now we can see the picture. She wanted to elevate herself above others. To feel her own righteousness. To prove to herself that she is above the loathsome "apostates" at this site. Let's examine a few more of her posts and see where she actually fits into the picture.
Shunning, most definitely is hard to take ... for anyone ... young or old. It's not like the JWs dreamed it up ... it IS scriptural.Let's truly take responsibility.
The rules of the society are scripturally based ..
He knew, you know and I know he broke one of the tenets of being a baptised and dedicated member of Jehovah's Witnesses. So he actually judged himself by doing this.
He also expects us to live up to our dedication. There have to be rules ... what kind of mess would there be without them?
Yes, Rosalee has broken the rules. She has judged herself. She is even more of an apostate than anyone at this site. She knows that she certainly, by her own admission, deserves to be cast out of the very organization as one who apparently has committed the "unforgivable sin" according to the dictates of the FDS.
Will she do what is right? Or will she smugly go on her way, acting as a loyal one, but living a double life, never living up to her responsibility--being disloyal? I imagine that she will never admit to anyone in the organization that she has been here.

Oh, gosh. Here's another one:
Where did I say that the Stench (Trench) was water? Speaking of water, isn't it time to snap on a night time Depend and hit the hay for old codgers like youself? :)

pseudoxristos
Rosalee,
Here are a few of my thoughts on the subject for your response in a limited exchange:
Can individuals with all their flaws correctly choose which organization is being directed by God, even though this organization itself is also flawed?
Based on simple observation, I believe the answer is definitely, No.
With the multitude of religions and an even greater multitude of denominations among the different religions, it appears that there is a great confusion among humanity as to which organization is directed by God.
It is obvious that an individual’s faith is guided not by which organization is directed by God, but rather the culture and background of the individual. In general, children born to Christians, become Christians. Children born to Muslims, become Muslims. Baptist children become Baptists. Witness Children become Witnesses, etc. etc. It’s true that individuals will convert to a different denomination, or sometimes a different religion, but in general most people remain in the religion of their parents or their culture.
Using my previous post as an example, I incorrectly assumed you were stating that I agreed with your conclusion about religion. A simple mistake lead me, and others to believe that you meant something entirely different. This is similar to what happens to those born in various cultures. Their background and values will not allow them to see beyond what has been drilled into their minds from birth. Going on an incorrect assumption or a simple mistake they reach the wrong conclusion concerning the correct religion.
It is simply impossible for the majority of humanity to accept that the Watchtower Society is God’s organization. A God that requires this is unacceptable.
The other problem is why would God choose to direct one flawed organization over another? Is there a certain amount of error that God will accept?

poppers
poppers ... I know that people can be loving and caring and not be JWs. We are created in God's image and God is LOVE. It's the route we get to him that matters
So, exhibiting love and care must be done within a certain framework. A Buddhist's expression of love, for example, isn't as worthy as, say, a Jehovah's Witness. Or an atheist's expression of love isn't acceptable to god. It seems to me that if, as you say, "God is LOVE" then no expression of love is less than any other, and it wouldn't matter "the routue" it takes.

Thank you Quandry,
Seeing all of these smart a_ _ remarks including her last posts shows she is no different then the rest. Again, I point out that LOVE is supposed to be the identifying mark of a "true" Christian. Love for your "enimies"?? I just don't feel the love. Case in point!
Sincerely,
Lady Liberty

horrible life
Quandry, I have to come to Rose's rescue here. I and Rose believe, that all sins have the same weight in Jehovah's eyes. Right Rose? Right.
So if it truly is a sin to come here, I am sure she will be talking to the elders right after the meeting tomorrow. Right Rose?
I say tomorrow, because Rose, If it were me, and I were in your shoes, I would call all of my friends, and family, and wish them a good year, because you won't be talking to them for at least that long, until you are reinstated.
In the meantime, you can go ahead and hang out here for a year. GREAT TO HAVE YOU ABOARD!!!!!! AHOY THERE!!!!!!!

Remember the old television show This Is Your Life? People from the past were paraded out and life events discussed and everyone extolled the virtues of the star of the show for the day.
What do we see about Rosalee's life?
How about callousness toward others, cutting remarks, self-righteousness, disobedience, defiance of the WTS standards of conduct, and disloyalty?
You have been exposed here, Rosalee, just as the WTS has been.
