    I ripped up the carpet in my house and look at what I found. WOOD FLOORS!!!!! Shall I hire someone? Nah - I'll refinish it myself.

    I've never done this before, not to mention 1000 sq ft. So what do you think?

    Yeah, I am going to take a break, but in a few weeks I will refinish the wood work and partake on the 800 sq ft of wood floors upstairs. Will this ever end? lol

    That looks like you did a helluva lot of work. Wow.

    The floors have great potential to beautiful when you're finished. It reminds me of the house I grew up in.

    JK666 - OMG - it was horrible. The floors are original 1930's and I had to take layers off. Coughed up dust for days....lol

    oompa - Thanks babe! I love dark rich colors! The colors look even better with all my mahogany furniture set in place.
