If locked inside a large building one can't have a proper idea of what it is like let alone where it is and how its position is related to other buildings in the area. So deception on these issues becomes an easy matter. What is lacking is perspective.
The problem will be solved by going out and seeing the building and its area from a distance and preferably from high up eg with a helicopter. That will quickly dispel all misconceptions.

does this program mention any specific cults by name? Would you say that most any JW watching it would have a breakthrough and recognize the similarity?

I did not hear them mention the JW's. I think most JWs wouldn't even think the same thing applies to them. I'm just thankful my roommate can recognize it.
