Xena sent me a message on myspace a little while ago, but since then i havent heard anything

We've been here for a few weeks and are working on getting settled and adjusting to our new lives. Bethany starts school this week and I start looking for a job. The weather is certainly interesting...I've never had to wear a coat in the summer before. But we did have a fantastic day Saturday and actually walked on the beach barefooted! That was what I was expecting of my Scottish summer...per Ross they get maybe 10 days like that and I've already had 3 of them.

You don't really anticipate how many differences there are until you are actually moved and living in a different country. Just baking a box of brownies is an adventure when you don't know the measurements for ingredents! And don't even get me started on driving...car on the wrong side, seat on the wrong side, stick shift on the wrong side and narrow streets with crazy signs. But we are getting there slowly but surely.

It really is beautiful here and the people despite what ninja says are wonderful (course this could just be an act to lull me into a false sense of security )

Hopefully once we get into a routine we will be around online more.

Its really good to hear from you Xena. Walking barefoot on the beach sound gorgeous. From what I hear mostly you just missed a lot of rain in Texas and now Hemp babe says its just an oven when they walk out the door and they cant wait for it to cool down. I think Bethany will be very popular at school - all the girls will want to be here best friend. Tell her I wish her a really easy first day and I am sure it will be!
