Page 26 - "Those who will form the nucleus of the 'new earth,' a new earthly society of rightly disposed people are being gathered during these last days. They are already nearly seven million strong, in at least 235 lands and in some 100,000 congregations. These millions have been learning the righteous and just ways of Jehovah, and as a result, worldwide they enjoy a unity that is cemented by Christian love. Their unity is the most pronounced and enduring in the history of the world, a unity exceeding anything experienced by Satan's subjects."

    Any comments?

    Yes I have comment.

    Unity is way over-rated.

What JWs have is called uniformity, not unity. Unity can be had between Muslim and an Atheist. Unity has to do with an emotional connection and is experienced in an atmosphere of tolerance, no, acceptance. Families can be united even when the individual beliefs are totally dissonant. When uniformity is coersively laid on a people it pushes unity farther away and makes it impossible to acheive.

"...a unity exceeding anything experienced by Satan's subjects."

Not True! The McDonald's Big Mac is pretty much the same (that is, uniform) all over the world. --VM44

To counter the WT Society's claim please note just one example of a larger worldwide network namely, the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement. While not perfect, they accomplish more Humanitarian charity in one year than the Watchtower has in its entire existence. There is a worldwide network of "Red Crossers." Red Cross staff and volunteers are warmly welcomed at any Branch around the world and treated as part of the Red Cross Family.

If worldwide organization, friendship, charity, good works, good will and good intentions were all that was required, the Red Cross would be in a better position than anything the Watchtower Society could ever imagine. Amazingly (to some) Red Cross is not in any manner religious yet it does more than the self proclaimed "god's chosen people." Either the Watchtower are false prophets and liars or they are just really bad at being "God's Chosen People".

Of interest, note what the work of the Red Cross is based upon:

All Red Cross programs and activities are guided by the Fundamental Principles of Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality. These principles allow us to provide help immediately to whomever needs it, wherever they are, whatever their race, political beliefs, religion, social status, or culture.

    Humanity

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, born of desire to bring assistance without discrimination, endeavours, in its international and national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, co-operation and lasting peace amongst all peoples.

    Impartiality

It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It endeavours to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress.

    Neutrality

In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Movement may not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.

    Independence

The Movement is independent. The National Societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with the principles of the Movement.

    Voluntary Service

It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain.

    Unity

There can only be one Red Cross or one Red Crescent Society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory.

    Universality

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, in which all Societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other, is world-wide.

Blatant falsehood- wouldn't stand up to the scrutiny of a three-year old, let alone a strong wind.

    They lie without shame.
