As we all know, this picture is the subject of much controversy

This is the picture that the WTS stole and put into the Live Forever book

Please note the lower left of that picture. You will notice the words DIE NACKTEN UND DIE REICHEN. I decided to google that(actually I used webcrawler) and found out that DIE NACKTEN UND DIE REICHEN is the name of a German hard core porn movie that came out in 1982 which was the same time that the Live Forever book was being made.

It is my theory that the pretty girl on the front cover of Stern magazine is not as sweet and innocent as we might think. I beleive she was a porn star in that movie. Furthermore I think that page 93 of the Live Forever book is totally inspired by that movie. I hope someone has that movie or will watch it to find out if my theory is correct. I do know, that there is a girl in that movie that looks alot like the girl with long black hair in the background of the pic on page 93. Would that not be sweet. The Governing Body read the Live Forever book and approved of each picture and word. The Governing Body made this porn star famous!!

I must state that the implications are deeper than the reality to me.

If they stole the pic - which evidence suggests they did - it was not to promote pornography was it? Possibly they did not even know the origin of the photogragh [especially the GB would not have known it]. Likely someone in the art department used the innocent looking image of this girl without anyone higher up knowing about it.

I think at most they are guilty of theft of copywrited material. More than that seems like a stretch.

Just imagine the implications is she was a porn star though. That pretty much makes the Live Forever book pornographic because it was glorifing a porn star

Maybe someone can look for actress pictures and double check them with the ones in the WTS publication?

I've been posting only since December, I think, and yet this is the third or fourth time this subject has cycled through. So they plagiarized a picture - they've done a lot worse than that. I can't get excited about it, although the first time I saw it I thought, "those cheap bastards, can't even pay for original art."

A porn star for a model for the peeps that set themselves up as absolutely the ONLY spokesperson for god and morality on earth?!?!?!?Beautiful!!! I doubt it's part of some sort of conspiracy theory. Probably just a frustrated artist trapped at Bethel taking a small piece of revenge; making an artistic outcry the only way he could--probably been laughing internally for years!!

I'd be willing to watch it to do some important factfinding research. ;)

I would start though with finding the issue of that magazine. Perhaps there are other pictures inside (not just the cover) that may be relevant. Otherwise, we could attribute the other figures in the picture to the artist's imagination/inspiration. It seems more likely that it was just the magazine that was involved, rather than looking up the film on the basis of the article.
