Personally, I think being on a first name basis with a Supreme Being is repugnant and laden with hubris!
How many of us would call our earthly father by his given name? It is very disrespectful. Jesus certainly didn't do it.

Look in any hynmbook of christendom and the name Jehovah is in there in at least 15 to 20% of the hymns
