I was diagnosed with CFS by a Doctor of Internal Medicine. Many diagnoses of CFS are not made by medical professionals using the criteria established by the CDC. Chiropractors, wellness clinics, apothecaries, etc. often misdiagnose things like Lupus, mononucleosis, or Lyme disease as CFS.
I strongly recommend getting a thorough test done to rule out other things that cause many of the same symptoms.
On the positive side, I was diagnosed with severe CFS and now I work 14+ hours a day caring for 12 eighth grade boys at a residence school for economically and behaviorally/socially challenged kids. The constant stress I was living in as a JW was unbearable for my immune system.
