I was still an semi active jw when i went out with my hubby. When i got caught out with him i had to tell him that i was a jw and there were restrictions that had to be in place.
He didn't care and we still went out with each other and we got married only not to cause shame for my family.
When we seperated and divorced i went out with a few other guys it was not the first topic of convo, but there was a guy who i lived with for a few years and i told him and he really didn't care. But was annoyed that the jw decided after so many years that i would be DF. That got him mad but it didn't change the thing for my family and still talked to me.
