The Olde Trip is just off Castle Boulevard. There is a car
park on Canal Street, about 250 yards away, but that does
tend to get full. I have seen a few cars parked nearby, and
I'll pop in there next week and enquire about the best place
to park, and let you know Ross.
Here's a link to a video of the exterior and interior of the pub:

See you soon

seems to have a nice beer garden - as I recall it became known as The Adam and Steve due to the large number of Bethel Boys having a beer or two. I think it then got banned for Bethelites....:-)
We'll be there from around 7.30pm...
7:30ish sounds good. Just bumping this up to catch any other Brit' saddo's who are stuck at home this Saturday evening
Proper English pubs! You can't beat 'em.
Its been suggested that central London might be easier, for a meal and a drink. Alternatively we could have an early meal with some and a drink at the Adam and Steve a little later, if folks would like?
Ye Olde still sound sgood for Notts.
Any suggestions for Manchester and Glasgow, yet?
Thanks hon! Do what is best for the majority. If sweetpea and besty can get to the Adam and Eve and it has a beer garden thats cool - I shall do my best to get there as well. There are trains and taxis I am sure, like we discussed. If all else fails I can bring my new man-child - he can bring me on his motorbike!
maybe one day visiting canada?
Just a reminder, I'm going to have my 12 year old daughter with me so wherever we meet it needs to be kid friendly.
Love to meet up with you on the 19th in Nottingham, and dedpoet and linda who I missed on the Manchester apostafest!
Hopefully be dragging along my lovely and long suffering never a witness boyfriend Mark too

Sounds good if it's not too much trouble for you guys to meet up twice. Xena, the Madam & Eve states 'children welcome' in it's review - http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/pubsandbars/adam-and-eve-info-17580.html
It's in a quiet part of town so I think you should feel comfortable. Looking forward to meeting you and your daughter (mine's thirteen, I know what they're like). Oh and Ross too!
