I handed mine to the cong's three elders the last meeting I went to (just for that purpose) as well as sent it thru mail to the CO...
I don't know if the same elders even go to the same hall anymore, it's been years. How do you find out the elders in the hall? Is it ok to just mail it to the hall or is it better to actually take copies to the next meeting and distribute them?

It isn't about how you feel or think, it is about what you show, what people can see. A terrible way to live. I can't imagine who would want allegiance like that. Based on fear of rejection and rooted in denial of your own growth, discovery and progression.

I agree with the others who said that your letter was heartfelt, to the point and not a "hate" letter.
I DAed 14 years ago to make a clean break - not that I did something to warrant a DFing. I took back control and I didn't want to be bothered by them. That's just me. Others desire to fade or whatever else they choose. I certainly don't hold that against anyone or think lesser of them.
