Let me clue you in to another aspect of the elder arrangement. They can hold you back as long as they or the society want. I have a friend who is an elder and he just recently got access to his file (yes they keep a very detailed file on people.) In the file he found out that the elders were trying to appoint him for 3 years to be an elder. 3 years. The catch to all this is he was at bethel and based obn his rep at bethel they wanted to hold him back.
So can you imagine you go to bethel as a young kid and they put you thru all this BS, till you cant take no more (for example see new boys post) Than 10 years later they still are holding what you did as a 20 year old against you. That is how petty and unforgiving this organization is, you are trying to get back in good grace with.
