MQ, Happy Mothers Day to you too. Yes my fellas remembered. me. My oldest son came from work with a basket of candles, nice soaps and cooking stuff in a cute basket. He had about 5 minutes but just let me know in his own way he loved me. My younger son not having any available funds just gave me a big fat hug almost breaking my arms!
I don't need any more than that!

Happy belated Mother's Day! Getting on and staying on board has been dicey for the last week so I'd better say hi whilst I can. Sorry you are hampered for saying what's in your heart. At least your fellas remembered you.
Do you know what slays me? I was the first in my family to be a JW and "militantly" influenced them to take up the cause. Not to mention non-family with whom I studied. Now - to my grief - I see such behaviors as you described among kith and kin. It is very hard for me to deal with as I see the patterns of psycho-religio abuse self-perpetuating. I try to plant seed wherever possible, but sometimes I wanna get in there and plough up that infernal "garden" whose growth I credited to God. Is this called a rant?
