    Since one of the dances is to 'The Duke of Leinster', I guess it relates to this guy famed for his part in the 1798 rebellion:

    The Clare connection may be something to do with Lord Clare being the only peer who tried to save him from his fate.

    The vid poster said these guys do this thing on 26th December each year - but I don't know why or where in Co. Clare!

    Thank you very much sad emo. I have a better understanding now....I found the video on the www.flickr.com web site and ask the poster the same question but he hasn't answerd yet.
