My wife refuses to listen to any critical talk about the "slave". I realize that she suffers from a combination of being in fear of the real truth and being comfortable where she is right now. She makes comments from time to time about how the friends are so unkind and distant, but when I try to show her that the problem is not a local one alone, but starts from the organizational top....she shuts down.
