Did he say something like this?

    ***w925/15pp.21-22"PutOntheCompleteSuitofArmorFromGod"***

    "With

yourfeetshodwiththeequipmentofthegoodnewsofpeace." (Ephesians 6:15) Are your feet shod in this way? Do they regularly take you into the field ministry to declare the good news? Are you striving to improve the quality of your preaching and teaching activities? True, certain territories are relatively unresponsive. Individuals may be indifferent, apathetic, or antagonistic. Our preaching may even bring persecution upon us. But by persevering, Christians develop endurance, a quality that provides protection against Satan’s attacks. Though persecuted, Paul was a zealous preacher, and we are encouraged to ‘become imitators of him, even as he was of Christ.’—1 Corinthians 11:1.

Welcome Verona, as stated above those verses were typically taken out of context. The WTS wants to motivate its members to go out and preach ie sell their products hence the twisted explanation. In the early church there were many functions and preaching was one of them. Some engaged in it some engaged in other functions, not all were preachers. Just as the body has different parts with different functions. Their Christian way of life was in fact a very powerful way of witnessing to those around them. One action means more than one thousand words.
