The Simpsons just isn't the same without Troy McClure

    I agree!

I wasn't feeling all that well this weekend so I got out Season 5 and 6 of The Simpsons and had a Simpsons Watching Marathon. Phils voice is used in many of the episodes. I turned the commentary on and when Troy McClure came on the screen everybody mentioned how much they missed Phil.

    I miss him too!

    That made me wanna cry.

We are avid watchers of The Simpsons and his contribution to that show was immeasurable. Very funny guy, his life ended so young and so tragically.

    Thx for the link.

One thing about Phil was his timing. And his impressions. I miss his work.

Didnt his wife kill him at home? And then herself?

He had the best minor characters on The Simpsons like Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz. Fantastic work that he did - just loved his sense of timing.

I loved all his work. The Simpson's, SNL, Peewee Herman... the guy was a genius. Sad.

Just watched this YouTube thingy again. I really, really wish he hadn't died. :-(

Phil Hartman and Chris Farley. Two of my favorites. They checked out far too early. It's a huge loss for their familes and for us as fans.
