    Hey gang :)

I've noticed some nicknames bantered around (Seven=princess, bittermango=little one) wondered what all the cafe gang calls eachother and how they got those nicknames?

Just wondering on a pretty Sunday afternoon...

hi essy! 'little one' is between mark (crossraods) and i, as i am just a wee child (17) and he is always looking out for me !!!

i have always wondered if there is some story behind the 'princess' thing with mark and seven... but she really is a princess so who knows.

~i woke up adrift in a technicolor bliss~

Essie---I fell deep in cyber space love with SEVEN ah you
should have seen the songs. Anyway I put HER on a pedelstal
and I only keep adding more bricks to make the pedelstal more
secure. Once asked by OUR sister from down under in an
e-mail if I really loved Seven---Yes I do in my own way I do,
I have let Her in and not many people get to be where she
resides. "She has away about Her" and "She will always
    be a 'Princess' to me".

Stephen and I are real life brothers and Princess has adopted
us or we her to being our 'little sister' we have two older sisters
but not a younger. Stephen and I are proud to be associated
    with Royalty.

This is so sweet. I hope I deserve one one day....

    Name
    Goo Goo Dolls

And even though the moment passed me by
    I still can't turn away
I saw the dreams you never thought you'd lose
    Tossed along the way
Letters that you never meant to send
    Are lost and blown away

And now we've grown up orphans I never knew their names
We don't belong to no one, that's a shame
You could hide beside me, maybe for awhile
And I won't tell no one your name
    I won't tell your name

    The scar's a souvenir she'd never lose
    The past is never far
And did you lose yourself somewhere out there
Did you get to be a star

Don't it make you sad to know that life
Is more than who we are
You grew up way too fast
    Now there's nothing to believe
The reruns all become my history
A tired song keeps playing on a tired radio
And I won't tell no one your name
And I won't tell your name

I think about you all the time
But I don't need to think
If it's lonely where you are, come back down
And I won't tell your name

    Mambo No.5

    Ladies and Gentlemen,
    this is Mambo number five.

    One, two, three, four, five,
    everybody in the car
    so come on let's ride
To the liquor store around the corner.
The girls say they want some gin and juice
    but I really don't wanna.
Beerbust like I had last week.
I must stay deep 'cause talk is cheap.
I like Logical, Frenchy, Dannybear and Six.
    And as I continue,
    you know they're getting sweeter.
    So what can I do?
I really beg you my Lord.
To me flirting is just like a sport.
Anything fly, it's all good let me dump it.
Please set it in the trumpet.

A little bit of Mark in my life,
A little bit of Caole by my side.
A little bit of Intro’s all I need,
A little bit of Stephen’s all I see.
A little bit of Cowboy in the sun,
A little bit of Kismet all night long.
A little bit of Six here I am,
A little bit of you makes me your girl!

    Mambo number five.
Jump up and down and move it all around.
Shake your head to the sound,
put your hands on the ground.
Take one step left and one step right.
One to the front and one to the side.
Clap your hands once and clap your hands twice
And if it look like this
    then you're doing it right.

    Trumpet, the trumpet.
Mambo number five, ha, ha, ha.

I do all to fall in love with a man like you.
Cause you can't run and you can't hide.
You and me gonna touch the sky.
    Mambo number five.

You're correct, Mark. I do live in Chicago. Does Stephen live near?

Anyway, this was one of the first songs I learned to play. I had an old acoustical guitar that I bought with my allowance money. A young man started a bible study with my mother. I was 14, He was 25. I had a serious crush. He used to play in a band, and decided to teach me. He sang this to me and I fell in teenage love. He taught me to play "House of the Rising Sun". But, I only played by ear. If I listened to him, I could play it.

Sad to say, my mom thought he was too much of a worldly influence, and stopped the lessons. My cheap, little guitar stood in the corner for years. But, he never left my heart. I can still hear him singing....

    Dream Weaver
    Gary Wright

I've just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
    And leave tomorrow behind

    (chorus)
    Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
    Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
    Maybe to an astral plane
    Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget todays pain

    (chorus again)

Though the dawn may be coming soon
There still may be some time
Fly me away to the bright side of the moon
And meet me on the other side

(chorus again, then fade out with the following
    repeated several times...)

So much wasted, so much lost....because of religion. Is it too late?
