I am so with the Rod Stewart song. He rocks.

Luther Vandross DID do that song, I know cause I love it. He must have liked the other groups version too! I don't pay much attention to singers of any color unless they catch my attention for non-singing things. He wasnt big into making a spectacle of himself, I guess. Which is great-who wants to be known as a great white singer or black singer? I would just want to be known that I was a great artist. But thats just me (pasty white, blending into the background amap.) Everyone had great suggestions-or funny ones.

You want to know how white I am? My first cousin Tanya played "Its a nice day for a white wedding" at her wedding. Walking down the aisle with her husband in a catholic church. Weeks later we were all still giggling over that.

LonelySheep - Wow! I can't tell you what those 2 songs mean to me - to us!!! I remember being with him, PLAYING THEM ON 8-TRACK IN MY ROOM . . . memories . . . wow!!!
