I knitted a doll for my daughter. I had started it a while ago (maybe close to 2 years) and decided to finally finish it. My daughter knew about the doll and would ask about it. I put it in her stocking last night. She was so happy. She hasn't put it down yet. I'll get my husband to take a pic of it and upload it here so you all can see it.

What a great pressie! Well my hubby and his brother introduced a 'no gifts for adults' rule at xmas, but if they hadn't I'd have introduced a 'handmade goods only' rule.

I'd love to see the doll you made.

When my younger son was about 3 maybe 4 he was really into stuffed animals. So I Bought 4 rabbits, white and doll like .....2 adult sized and 2 kid size. I spent alot of time making clothes for the silly rabbits to represent each member of our family.

It was much fun for for me and he thought it was really funny. We kept the 4 dressed bunnies in our living room for a long time. He had endless fun throwing them into the air, kicking the (older brother) but putting them all back together every evening.

I always like to see others who have crafts or hobbies that they enjoy. It makes life so much better when you tap into the creative side of your brain. They are also very helpful to someone leaving the Borg.

I vote for a picture also!

Very sweet! When I was very broke a few Xmases ago, I sewed together a blankie/sleeping bag for my daughter and sewed her name into it.

Funny, I've been sleeping with it a lot lately! I don't think it was the most wonderful gift she ever got, but my heart was really into it and she seemed oddly pleased with it.

    Let's see the dolly!
