In my opinion, The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle, is one of the most enlightening books ever written. That said, there is no truth in it, and Eckhart is up front about that.

Purps, don't feel bad about having to read it again; I read it seven or eight times and still pick it up and read a bit now and then. It never gets stale.

well, it's one of the satisfying things about Eckhart Tolle that he doesn't claim to have "the truth." So refreshing, in fact the whole book is refreshing. It helped me relax about the unknowable. I don't feel I have the answers but I also don't feel like I have to have some kind of answer about everything. That's one of the annoying and dangerous things about the JWs, they have an answer for everything, and it's all ********. I'm not sure about the spelling of his name, by the way.
