In Feb of 2005 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although fairly aggressive, it was caught early and I underwent two surgeries and radiation and went on Tamoxifen. In Feb of 2006 a second cancer was found on the other side. This one was small; surgery removed it and no further treatment was done. My oncologist determined that I had cancer on both sides at the same time and the one on my left side was so small the mammogram didn't pick it up for a year. There is no history of breast cancer in my family at all. I just had a mammogram done and it was normal. Even so, I wonder what is going on inside that the mammogram hasn't seen yet. I just don't feel comfortable in my skin any more.

Cancer sucks. I don't want to bore everyone with the sob story, just suffice it to say I can certainly relate. It's starting to become as common as the flu.
