Not personally, but I know a few who did. The elders in our kh often warned against gossip, but always listened to it, especially if it was about someone they didn't like.
This brother lived two doors away from an interested person, a single mother with 3 kids, and gave her lifts to and from the meetings, with his own mother and the kids in the car, I might add. Still, rumours started to circulate about his "conduct" with this sister. Two people had seen him talking to her on the street where they both lived, and reported it to the elders, who then conducted an investigation. He asked them why he shouldn't speak to someone who lived on the same street as him, and they couldn't really answer him, but they marked him anyway. This bro eventually moved house, and congregation, but his "reputation" went with him. He's fading now, and hasn't attended a meeting for around 6 months. We know this because he's a friend of Trevs, and keeps in touch with him.
