That when Jesus was talking about the other sheep he was referring to them, a cult that was not to appear for another nearly 2000 years, Gosh they have to be very important for Jesus himself to talk about them so far in advance. He was obviously referring to the soon to be gathered gentile believers as opposed to the Jewish ones, something the apostles were to witness themselves and be surprised by it.
The Bible forbids the eating of blood which includes blood transfusions.
Now blood is said to be an organ and the bible allows us to use other people's blood in fractions, but not our own stored blood.

Snicker....How 'bout when they decided to disassociate some, like most of the teens in my hall, back in the 80's, saying they were to be treated as if they were Disfellowshipped.....
Then what, 10 years later they retracted it in a WT article, and asked them all to come back to the sheepfold??!! By then the damage was already done, and many said, "Frigg off".

Better yet, what has the Watchtower said that has turned out to be true, or that has NOT changed with time.
The WTS has changed so many of its doctrines over the course of its existence that a JW of the 1940s would bear almost no resemblence to a JW today. If that 1940s JW could be suddenly transplanted into a modern-day cong, he/she would be almost immediately disfellowshipped for apostacy.

There is a group (or used to be) in Eastern Europe called something like "The Real Jehovah's Witnesses" they had been underground for years until the collapse of the Soviet Union. When they got back in touch with crooklyn, so much had changed they assumed that the society had been taken over by apostates and formed their own organization.
