Wow, I didn't realize how many had the same experience. That is awesome. We always focus on how bad it hurts when family leaves, but never really talk about family gained. I realize that some gain no family because their entire family is witnesses. Perhaps we can become their family.
That's what some tell me all the time. That they know ones who have all their family in. I don't know my extended family very well at all because we never were around them. But it's not too late to be a part of them now. So yeah, it's hard to see it for what it is, when we are so hurt and saddened by how our immediate families are treating us. But we have other family.
