On a Canadian two-dollar bill, the flag flying over the Parliament Building is an American flag. I thought that a "Canadian two-dollar" was a coin? I thought the paper money started at $5

Almonds are members of the peach family.

In the book, My Book of Bible Stories, Aaron's rod magically grew almonds that were NOT a member of the peach family in the original. Later versions show the picture edited.

Not true. Chilver is a kind of ewe lamb, curple is the hindquarters of a horse, and hirple is a verb in British English that means "to hobble". Sporange is claimed to rhyme with orange, but this is debatable (since spuh-rahnge is the claimed pronunciation).

WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT AARON ROD MADE ALMONDS GROW?

    Numbers 17:8, badboy.

The My Book of Bible Stories has the account in story # 39.

I didn't know that, but it doesn't surprise me. They sometimes have an explosive effect on one of my bf's friends when he has a packet after a few beers at our local.

My dad's offering for a rhyme with orange: doorhinge.

    And from Williard Espy:

To find a rhyme for 'silver'
    Or any rhymeless rhyme,
    Requires only will, ver-
    bosity and time.
