I never did, never had the faith that it would come in my lifetime.
How many cars were bought to last until Armageddon
I think it was my 1974 Cadillac (4 door)!
Outaservice (who's still driving it!)
Just for fun, my mom's 1993 lumina was the last car (before the end) bought new .... which I bought with 20,000 "service" miles on it and I gave it to my son for college and he just sold it ,,,ummm that was her last car before the end. She now has a used Honda with 20,000.00 on it. ....this is the last car before the end which one of my sons willl purchase when they are out of college........you may complete this sentence yourself......
Honestly, I remember the year that my parents and I got baptized, 1963, we purchased a brand new Olds Delta 88. It was going to be the last car we bought before Armageddon!
I bought a HUMVEE so it would last through the Big A not just until it.
Well I hope to God they all had 4 doors.
I actually knew of a set of tyres that were supposed to see the car through to the end, according to the Elder that drove this certain Fiat 125.
The year was, you might have guessed it - 1975.
I had an uncle who always said it was the last car he was going to buy before armageddon.
Eventually he actually bought the last car that HE was going to buy before armageddon.
Looking for divine intervention in the affairs of this horrible world is a worthwhile hope.
I always thought (hoped) that every car I bought would be my "armageddon car". Of course, none of them were. I don't think about it now, I don't believe in the imminence of the big a anymore.
