JoinedIntroduced to the Watchtower by a grandmother who was a JW: - unfortunately at an impressionable age. My father was under strong pressure to bring us children up as JWs. Luckily for he and my two sisters, he resisted. Unluckily for me, I defied him! Did the usual JW things i.e -let them prevent me from going to university. - let them talk me into throwing in my apprenticeship (after all, the end was coming in 1975!) - "Pioneered" (Euphemism for wasting the best years of my life hawking Watchtower literature). I broke with them 10 years ago. This, though, cost me my family. I have since (happily)remarried.
