    Thankyou, Crumpet. :-)

Of course, you people at the BBQ are really great people. :-)

But we are divided by the Channel, aren't we? And we have this Witness background. I happen to be very mistrustful towards people in general (that is non-JW) (surely a part of my history even intenified by my parents). I am an introvert and not good at keeping contacts (or only a few)?

Watch: I am sitting here in front of a PC. ;-)

Can't read their minds, but I know what I would have been thinking if I would have been one of those two jw. I would have been so proud of myself that I was doing something nice for someone else and giving a good witness. Then, a short time later, I would have reverted back to the fear that I wasn't doing enough and that jehovah was going to be displeased with me over something. I could get a good half hour or so from a good deed like that.

I would have felt just like you - a bit worried that they would ask too many questions and I would be found out, but I think you did the right thing. I would love to have a tour of bethel under an alias but it never will happen.

As for not trusting people outside the Borg, you will have to start trusting others. I've been out for over four years now and I have met some wonderful people who have become good friends.

I didn't go the Englishmans BBQ but I did go to the Apostacurry in Manchester and it was amazing!

Reach out to others - you will not be dissapointed.

I was so relieved when I left the property. On my way home I also felt a bit sad because this couple was really nice and friendly and for me it is really difficult to meet nice people outside the Borg.

    No longer "GermanJW", eh?
