I don't let it bother me anymore. I've developed a pretty thick skin. Since my mother cannot hurt me physically anymore, she tries it with words. I've learned if I don't want to go insane (lol) to just tune her out sometimes.
I do not regret any second I spent with my father - and I'd do it all over again if I had to.

I heard of one instance where an elderly ailing JW had her non-JW children move her to an undisclosed location.

They were afraid she would be talked into leaving all her money to the religion.
