    Hello Randy,

To introduce myself, I am Producing a play in NYC you might be familiar
with, Keith Reddin's "Brutality of Fact." It is about a family that has to
deal with one of the family members becoming a Jehovah's Witness. It is a
dark comedy, but it treats the subject with great importance and
sensitivity. Basically, we feel this performance can help people deal with
serious subjects, in a gentle, easy to take way.

From your web-site, I take it that you live in California, but if you are
visting New York and/or have any friends who could appreciate this play,
    they can come for free.

Members of the secret society of fools come to Urban Stages in Keith
    Reddin's "Brutality of Fact"

The Cardinal Group, Robin Mishik-Jett, and Jeffrey Schulman are proud to
present the NYC revival of Keith Reddin's black comedy "Brutality of Fact."
Performance dates are Aug. 17th through Sept. 10th at Urban Stages (259 W.
30th St., bet. 7th & 8th Ave.) Directed by Stephanie Yankwitt.

"Brutality of Fact" is a black comedy about a family tree that is gradually
rotting away. It presents the trials and tribulations of modern day family
life. In the "Brutality" brood, we have Maggie, a recovering alcoholic
unable to keep either a job or a relationship, and her sister Jackie, who
becomes a Jehovah's Witness. All the while, Val, the daughters' elderly
mother is unwittingly enlisted in Jackie's religious crusade. To further
complicate matters, Jackie gets involved in a custody battle with her
ex-husband. Question: is (holy) water thicker than a 'Bloody Mary'?

Keith Reddin's plays include: "Frame 312", "Big Time", "Life and Limb", "Rum
and Coke", "Highest Standard of Living", "Life During Wartime", "Innocent's
