I'm sure many dubs will say that Satan's attacking me...

You will not believe this! Now, my husband is in the hospital with a G.I. Bleed. Last night, he had to have a transfusion. They're going to do a EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy) to look inside his stomach and duodenum to see if they can find where he is bleeding from. Some of you will remember that he had a heart attack in January, and that, the meds that they put him on caused to have severe G.I. bleeding where he had to have four blood transfusions. I stayed at the hospital with him last night. I didn't sleep well in that recliner, so I'm going to try to get a couple of hours of sleep at home; and then I'll go back to the hospital. I didn't even get to go see my mother the other day because I was with my husband. Talk about being torn in all directions!

The twins (the dubs) did come to see their dad. They even offered to stay with him when I was unable to. Their dad never did get baptized, so they don't have to shun him. It irritates him to no end that they shun me. I guess, I have to be happy with what I get.

I'll be popping in and out. I think. . .

Man, I've been really busy since I took off work for my health issues! I guess somebody knew that I was going to need to be off work.

    Such is life!

    That's horrible MrsMcD!

Try and get lots of rest to keep your energy levels up. Good news about the twins offering to help out.

    Thinking of you.......

Then what do JWs say when such a thing happens to them and their family?

Sorry to hear about this, MsMcD. I went through a similar frightening medical event with my husband about 3 years ago...he is doing much better now.

Sounds like your doctors are working hard and your husband has a good and loving wife.

    Sorry to hear this ((((((hug))))))))

If your doing bad, it's because you're being punished.

If youre doing good, it's because Satan is blessing you.

    Go figure.

Wow, Ms.McD! Things have been pretty rough for you and your's lately. Here's hoping everybody gets well and things calm down.

Re the twins: Ugh! I mean, I'm glad they came to see their dad, but the whole shun your mother so you don't get on "Jehovaha's" shit list is really a bunch of selfish garbage. Not much you can do, I guess. You can only hope they will come to regret it one of these years.

Sorry about your husband, hope all goes well.

So much for your girls honoring their mother. hmm, isn't there a commandment like that somewhere?

Ah, gee. It never rains but it pours, huh? At least the twins spent time with their dad. They were discreet enough not to say anything about the transfusions?

    Aw honey... {{{MsMcDucket}}}

I'm very sorry to hear about your difficulties.

So far, not a peep out of them about the blood; but, they do try to witness to him. They keep bringing up the stuff that's going on in Israel. . .it's getting close to the end. They drop magazines and books off to him. (I hate those magazines, ya know?!)

Its too bad that all of us live so far away, reading your message, made me wish I could bring some food to you, flowers or something to give you a bit of support or comfort, its too bad that JW shun people in difficult times, I know how that feels.
