I just say, hi. I'm not df'd or da'd so I usually get a hi back. Some just treat me like they always did at the hall, shun me....there are JWs like that with their own judgment list.
I do find that after almost 5 years, I have forgotten their names...

Yes, I find it hard to believe that Blondie forgets anything.
I also agree that the best way to respond to a JW is with a sense of control. Shun or not to shun, welcome warmly or walk away, the most important thing is to stand tall.
jgnat, you're so correct. They don't know how to handle it when control's taken naway from them!
