You're partially correct. Another clue: the row of trees on the right lead to a park. As you go into the park from the road in the picture you see this sign. (My wife is no longer standing there, however.)

Is that a boat parked there and some water to the right?
I take it there aren't many parks in Canada that have signs regarding dog poopy?
Too bad the printing on the trucks it too small for my magnifying glass.

No. That's not water to the right and that's not a boat. It's a truck or van.
I don't know about the status of signs in Canadian parks about dog poopy.
