Not one ounce of luck on those phone calls.
Stilla, it's interesting. ALL parents will tell you that they want to protect their children from harm. The unhealthy ones actually attempt to do it.
Now that you got a warning shot fired over your head, you have some time to take action as an independent adult without being forced into anything.
As a matter of fact I do have an extra room. (And a dishwasher). Fresno is an O.K. place.
