I remember of one that was disbanded in the late 1980's or early 1990's. The Groton Massachusetts Congo. became Pepperell Massachusetts Congo. The old KH was either sold or knocked down, and a new "two day miracle" (as they were known back then), was built, to suit the needs of Pepperell. The reason for the disbandment, once again, a bunch of foxes guarding the hen-house.
