    Take the Watchtower CD and do a search on the word "evidently". After you see the number of hits what sentence can you make

    using the word "evidently"?

    From the Blondie Dictionary of WT Words:

    evidently--this means the Bible does not say but the WTS is now going to tell us what God meant to say.

    Thanks for the link blondie. (I'm compiling my own list of watchtowerisms and evidently™ this will fill in some gaps.

    :::

    Interesting stats elsewhere, in view of the Watchtower™ and Insight book™ being designed to 'strengthen faith™' in whatever the light™ was/is this week.

    To use the word with its true definition intact:
    Evidently, the Watch Tower Society has made many false predictions, then retroactively "spiritualized" them to retain a measure of correctness.

    Oh man Blondie--you brought back memories of reading Watchtower articles, seeing all those little words they use. They also used to always use the term "thinking persons".

    Evidently 'thinking persons' are now leaving the society in droves.

    Evidently, in WTS-speak, "wisely" or "it is wise" equals a directive to morons individuals as to how to make choices about their lives.
